What is Stripe?
Stripe is payment service provider that millions of businesses of all sizes—from startups to large enterprises—use to accept payments and manage their businesses.
But what does that mean to me?
The appearance of your invoice will look different and be sent to you directly from Stripe.
Once you have set up your payment card, future storage fees will be collected automatically on the due date.
You will be sent a receipt from Stripe whenever a payment is successfully collected.
Stripe will send you reminders if a payment has been missed or if your payment card needs updating. You can call us at any point on 01903 812241 to update your payment card.
If a payment fails, Stripe will try to collect the payment again several times from your payment card.
Q: Does this mean my storage fee will increase?
A: No. This update only relates to the way payments are collected. If storage fees are ever increased, we will notify you separately with at least a months notice.
Q: I currently pay my fee's annually. Does this mean i will now have to pay monthly?
A: No. Any existing customers that pay annually or quarterly will keep the same payment frequency, but the payment will be collected via Stripe.
Q: what happens if i don't have a debit or credit card?
A: If you are a business or you don't have an active debit or credit card please give us a call on 01903 812241 and we can discuss your options.
Q: Why is Stripe the only option now?
A: We hope that Stripe will make things easier for our customers. Once you have moved over to paying via Stripe, all payments will be collected automatically so you won't have to lift a finger!
Stripe will also help us cut down on the amount of admin we need to do which means we can focus more on improving our storage site and the services we can provide to you.
